In 2023, Ford is going to sponsor the Rebelle Rally for the first time. They will have five teams participating, and one of those teams will use the all-electric Mustang Mach-E Rally car.
The Rebelle Rally is a special race for women where they have to drive off-road without using GPS or cell phones. It’s the first race of its kind in the United States, and it’s all about showing off the cars’ abilities and testing the drivers’ navigation skills. Ford has already announced the team members who will compete in the Rebelle Rally this year. Kaleigh Miller and Bailey Campbell will be driving and navigating the Mustang Mach-E Rally next month. Miller has taken part in the Rebelle Rally several times before and even won it in the 4×4 category a few times.
Campbell has also participated in the Rebelle Rally and has done well in other races too. She’s known for being the first female driver to finish in the top five at the King of The Hammers race when she was just 19 years old. The Mustang Mach-E Rally will be taking a 1,500-mile journey from Mammoth Mountain to the Imperial Sand Dunes in Southern California in October. This car is specially designed for off-road driving, and Ford has tested it thoroughly to make sure it can handle the tough terrain.
Ford is really excited about this electric car’s performance in the Rebelle Rally, and they believe it will be a fantastic experience for both the drivers and the fans of the Mustang brand.
